The Atlas Original Motocross Neck Brace was born and fueled from the racers perspective. Designed by a racer and refined over a 3 year period by a team of engineers and bio-mechanical experts, then tested by some of the top professional riders in the world. The Atlas Original Motocross Neck Brace was designed to follow the riders movements while staying clear of the riders spine and collar/sternum, and still allowing 100% protection and comfort at all times. The Atlas Original Motocross Neck Brace delivers innovative features, comfort, style, simplicity and adjustability, with no bulk. Simply put, the Atlas Brace has it all. Open Frame Design: High strength Polycarbonate construction is impact/shatter resistant, produces a vibrant finish, and easily accepts custom graphics. Easy On/Off: No flimsy clips or fasteners, and no disassembly of the brace is required during regular use. Simplistic Flexible Design: Non-rigid brace that allows the frame to flex upward and downward in the rear, maximizing comfort and minimizing bulk. Adjustability: Rear mount offsets for length (chest size), and optional shoulder padding for height (neck length) are both adjustable right out of the box. ERS (Emergency Release System): Provides safe, one of a kind removal of the brace after a severe crash (no head or neck movement required). Dual Pivoting Back Supports: Provides greater surface area spread across the back, aiming to reduce pressure points in critical areas of the body. Open Sternum: Helps transfer the impact around the sternum on a greater surface of the body, possibly reducing the risk of a fracture. Chest Suspension: Unique, flexible, leaf spring designed chest supports that aid in absorbing and slowing down Hyper-Flexion impacts. This innovative suspension system can also help to reduce some forces transferred through the helmet, head, and chest by distributing them through the brace. Pivoting Chest and Back Supports: Dual pivoting chest and back supports self adjust to the body and fold for easy storage. Custom Energy Absorbing Padding: Unique material properties help to disperse energy from an impact before it reaches the body, reducing smaller injuries or muscle fatigue when compared to conventional EVA foams. All padding is water resistant to ensure no added weight or wet padding during use. All hardware included is custom designed, CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Complete Package: Each Atlas Original Brace is packaged complete with 1 additional set of rear mounts, 1 optional shoulder padding kit (for height adjustment), 2 strap systems, 1 drawstring brace bag, and a multi-language user manual.
