Designed to reach new levels of lightweight, performance and comfort. Low profile toe for improved control and sensitiveness in the shift area. Tear and abrasion resistant microfiber material upper construction. Contoured shin plate protector is injected with high modulus TPU for a high level of impact and abrasion resistance. Contoured calf protector plate is injected with high modulus TPU for impact resistance. Contoured rubber panel on the inner side of the boot is designed for excellent contact grip with the bike, providing a high level of support and is laminated with aluminum foil to guard against heat. Extended, internal, injected TPU protection plates guard the ankle and sides of the lower foot, as well as the toe-box area of the boot. Instep and Achilles flex zones for superior comfort, control and support. Closure system featuring 4 aluminum buckles with memory adjustment and quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure. Top and bottom reverse closure design provides superior impact security and improved fit. Removable and replaceable kick starter protection insert on right boot. Stamped steel sole and heel guard. Soft, TPU, gaiter provides effective seal around the top of the boot, preventing excessive water and dirt entry. Breathable 3D tech mesh lining reduces heat buildup and improves comfort. Alpinestars unique anatomical and fully perforated microfiber and 3D tech mesh inner ankle sleeve features removable shock absorbing asymmetrical gel ankle protectors and a removable anatomic foot bed. Alpinestars exclusive, high grip, dual density rubber outsole with replaceable insert for durability. Contoured tempered steel shank is over injected inside the mid-sole assembly for rider safety and support. The TECH 8 LIGHT boot is CE certified.
